Klamic

Terms of service

These terms govern the free Klamic invoice generator and paid Klamic account service. They are written for business and professional users in the UK.

Last reviewed 17 August 2026

1. About Klamic

Klamic provides tools for creating, storing, managing and exporting invoices. The public generator can be used without an account. Paid Klamic accounts add saved business data, customers, items, invoice history, branding, templates, statistics and other reusable workflow features.

Klamic is an invoicing tool, not an accountant, tax adviser, solicitor, bank or payment institution.

2. Business use

Klamic is intended for people acquiring the service for purposes connected with their trade, business, craft or profession. By opening a paid account, you confirm that you are using Klamic for business or professional purposes.

If mandatory rights apply to you despite that intended use, nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account and business information, keep your sign-in details secure and use the service only for a business you are authorised to represent. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the activity results from a failure for which Klamic is legally responsible.

You can export account data through the product and can request permanent account deletion through the available privacy controls.

4. Subscriptions and billing

The price, billing interval and any applicable taxes are shown before checkout. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual billing period until cancelled.

Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. You can manage or cancel renewal through the billing controls made available in your Klamic account. Cancellation stops future renewal; unless Klamic states otherwise, paid access continues until the end of the already-paid subscription period.

If a payment fails or a subscription ends, Klamic may restrict the account to read-only access while keeping existing invoice history available for a reasonable period. Any refund required by law will be honoured.

5. Invoice numbers and records

Klamic can allocate invoice numbers automatically in the paid product. You remain responsible for ensuring that your numbering, invoice content, VAT treatment, legal identity and business records meet the requirements that apply to you.

Finalised invoices preserve a historical snapshot of key supplier, customer and invoice information so that later profile changes do not silently rewrite what was issued.

6. Free generator

The anonymous generator is provided as a convenient way to create and download a basic invoice. Klamic does not save the generator's business or customer details as an account record. You are responsible for keeping your own copy of any invoice you create or download.

7. PDFs and sending invoices

Klamic creates invoice PDFs that you can download, print or share using software and services on your own device. Unless Klamic explicitly states otherwise, Klamic does not send an email to your customer on your behalf.

A share action may hand the PDF to an app on your phone, tablet or computer, such as your email or messaging app. Delivery from that point is handled by the app or service you choose. You are responsible for selecting the correct recipient and checking that the invoice is attached before sending it.

8. Your data and customer data

You keep responsibility for the business information and invoice content you enter. When Klamic processes personal data about your customers or invoice recipients on your behalf, the Data Processing Terms form part of these terms.

You must not use Klamic to store information that you do not have a lawful right to process.

9. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Klamic, attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, create unlawful or deceptive invoices, misuse generated documents for spam or fraud, introduce malicious code, or use automated activity that unreasonably harms the service or other users.

Klamic may apply reasonable technical limits to protect reliability and prevent abuse.

10. Availability and changes

Klamic aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages, security work or circumstances outside reasonable control may occasionally interrupt access.

Features may be improved, replaced or retired over time. Klamic will avoid materially removing paid functionality during an active billing period without a reasonable operational, security or legal reason.

11. Intellectual property

Klamic and its software, branding and original site content remain the property of the Klamic operator or applicable licensors. These terms give you permission to use the service for your business; they do not transfer ownership of the Klamic software or brand.

You retain rights in content and business material you provide to Klamic.

12. Responsibility and liability

Klamic is responsible for losses that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, Klamic is not responsible for tax, accounting or legal decisions made from your use of the service, or for losses caused by inaccurate information you provide.

For business users, and to the extent permitted by law, Klamic will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of business opportunity. Klamic's aggregate liability relating to a paid account will not exceed the subscription fees paid for that account in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where the law does not permit that limitation.

13. Suspension and termination

Klamic may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for non-payment, fraud, unlawful use, serious misuse, security risk or a material breach of these terms. Where practical and lawful, Klamic will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve a remediable issue.

You may stop using Klamic at any time and can cancel future subscription renewal through your billing controls.

14. Changes to these terms

Klamic may update these terms to reflect product, provider or legal changes. Material changes affecting paid users will be communicated reasonably before they take effect where practicable. Continued use after an effective date will be treated in accordance with applicable contract law.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable to the Klamic operator's establishment in the United Kingdom. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
